You really have to see this up-close to appreciate the vibrant lime green, marine blue and black plaid! Yves Saint Laurent Variation. This suit has such a hunt country in the English countryside feel to it. Totally luxe fabrics and fabrication. Jacket has that 1970s seriously pointed spread collar with everything else screaming 1980s. Jacket has a gathered waist in the back, two side angled patch pockets as well as a 5 button front closure and large fitted cuffs deliver a total blouson look to the jacket sleeves. Padded, exaggerated shoulders sez 1980 and because of that 1970s-ish super spread collar, maybe very early 80s, when YSL himself was still alive and designing. Under any circumstances this is an unbelievable find! Straight skirt has 1 inch waistband, side hidden zipper and button tab closure. Back kick pleat. Metal Zipper.
