Op Art. Pop Art. Almost Frank Lloyd Wright-ian too! 1970s Don Loper for Duke of Hollywood long sleeved collared shirt. Red, white, brown and blue Great for a guy but perfectly sized for a woman. Six pearlized horn button front closure. One patch pocket on chest. No shirttails, so designed to be worn untucked and makes for a great tunic look on a woman. Long sleeves with one button closure at traditional cuffs. (Leotard not included).
Don Loper was a Hollywood designer from the 1930s to the late 1960s. In the early 1950s, he designed the outfits Gracie Allen wore on the Burns and Allen Show. In 1955 he was featured in an episode of the I Love Lucy show entitled – ‘The Fashion Show.’ He also designed the stage costumes for the famous Copacabana nightclub in New York City.
Duke of Hollywood was a menswear manufacturer owned by partners Jack Jallins and Marty Fields. (Belt not included.)
