MOD Ivory / Cream 2 PC Knit 1960s Dress and Matching Cape with Faux Pearl and Applique' Trim (SKU 10398CL)

First, this dress is much lighter in color than pictured. It is more of a creamy/ivory color.

This ensemble shows all the indicators of a very high end custom outfit. I'd peg it as an Originala however there aren't any tags to prove it. But of that same high quality and evidence of a lot of skilled handwork. MOD high end knit dress with matching cropped cape. Faux decorative pearl on embroidered trim around arm openings on the cape and a horizontal stripe across the bodice of dress. The sleeveless dress is slightly above the knee in length with the clean lines typical of the MOD era. It has a substantial hem so could be made longer. Dress also has hidden back zipper with metal pull. Matching trapezoidal cape is dramatically cut with a narrow notched collar trimmed with silk piping. Unlined.
